When a payment is made by credit card, it is normal to receive a lower amount first, before being charged the full amount of the purchase.
This happens so that the bank can make sure that the card is valid and that everything is OK to finalize the purchase. This charge can be canceled immediately afterwards or it can remain active for a period and is updated with the cancellation before the invoice is closed.
Some sites use pre-authorization of the amount, where the card reserves the amount of the purchase, removing it from the limit to carry out the analysis and only then finalize the purchase.
These amounts can be confusing on the bill, especially for purchases made in installments.
If you find that there has indeed been a duplicate charge on your card, contact the store or website where you made the purchase for advice on how to proceed.
