A chargeback is the return of the amount paid when a purchase is canceled.
Whether it's because the product is out of stock, the service has been terminated, there was a discrepancy in the payment or it was requested.
Refunds can be requested within 180 days of the payment date. Check with your card issuing bank for more information.
For credit cards, the chargeback can be reflected as a direct credit on the invoice, with a deadline of 24 hours or up to 45 days after the cancellation, depending on how the bank that issued the card works.
Refunds can also be made in the form of a cash refund, which you can check with the merchant.
